A Surface Fire Detector is an intelligent sensing terminal product designed for monitoring, photographing, locating, and alerting about surface fires in forests and grasslands. This product leverages composite sensing and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to accurately detect surface fire phenomena, providing rapid location and alerting within 30 seconds. It captures wide-angle photos (110°) for evidence collection on-site, facilitating the fundamental goal of achieving early, small, and complete fire suppression.
The product features solar-powered self-sufficiency, surface fire monitoring, cellular networking, and anti-theft capabilities. It requires no external power supply, no network cabling, and no manual supervision. It supports flexible installation options, either on trees or poles, offering easy installation and long-term reliability.
Main Functions
Fire Monitoring and Location Alert
Using spectral sensing technology, it can monitor and identify surface fires, accurately locate the occurrence, and promptly send alert information. It can accurately identify surface fires within 30 seconds and issue location alert information.
Anti-theft Monitoring and Location Alert
It can accurately detect and identify natural falls or human theft of the device within 15 seconds and issue location alert information.
Automatic Networking and Data Transmission
When there is network coverage, the NB-IoT surface fire detector is used. It supports automatic networking with NB-IoT (Narrowband Internet of Things), a low-power wide-area wireless communication technology from operators such as China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom, and performs two-way data communication with the cloud platform.
When there is no network coverage, dual infrared detectors are used. They adopt the YK-Mesh self-networking protocol to relay data via IoT gateways back to the cloud platform, allowing for two-way data communication with the cloud.
Automatic Diagnosis and Fault Alert
It can perform real-time self-diagnosis of the working status of various unit circuits and the working environment inside the chamber, proactively sending abnormal information. It supports remote online diagnosis and monitoring and control of working parameters.
Self-powering and Long-lasting Energy Supply
Using photovoltaic power supply and energy management technologies, it supports self-powering and long-term energy supply even in low-light environments, with a power supply lifecycle of 5 years or more.
